LOVE

     I have a lot to say and I have certain things I want to share, that I will get to eventually. So I'm skipping forward and I will fill in the gaps as I go along. I want to share some information from a psychological standpoint also. I will also get to that. I also want to share resources both affirmative and faith based.  No conversion therapy. 
     Today as I was at church they talked a lot about the love of God and that our goal is to become like him and show that love to our fellow men. As I was driving home I thought about Bruce Jenner, now Kaitlyn Jenner. A lot of people have shared their views on facebook both pro and against his or her decisions. For people with gender dysphoria or transgender, they feel that if  they look like their preferred gender, they are more real, or that it is their true identity. I really don't know what Jesus would say about this topic, but I'm sure He would love them. If we are true followers of Jesus Christ we would love everyone, even if they were different from us. I am sure that everyone in my congregation would love my Carlos. They may not agree with his decisions, or may not even understand what is going on, but I know they would love him if he came to our church. The reality is that he or she is still the same person inside, and always will be.
